Understand the problem first. Then the smallest thing that solves it.

We come from systems where a bug shows up in someone's bank account, so we start by understanding what breaks and why before writing anything. Often the answer isn't a new application: it's fixing one query that takes ten seconds, or removing three manual steps.

We work in bounded engagements: one API, one database, one service. We know what we can deliver in a given timeframe and don't promise more.

The best technology is the one that solves the problem with the least complexity.
